Feeling blue
Him Indoors' mum has gone home already and she seems to have taken the nice weather with her. 2 good things gone at once, not good.

I am in the mood for a meme
From Greenfairy : "what songs would make up the soundtrack to our lives. These aren't necessarily your favourite songs, or even ones you like, just ones that you associate with a particular time, incident or memory." The soundtrack to my childhood would be the theme tunes of L'ile aux enfants and Goldorak. Remember to insert a nostalgic sigh signalling a speach on how Japanes cartoons were so much better then (blank out having recently seen old episodes taped by my brother and the knowledge that it was rubbish) and kiddie programmes less patronising (no Casimir and Hypolytte do not look anything like teletubies and gloubiboulga was much more cleverthan tubbie custard). *hum* All I wanna do is have some fun... Sheryl Crow. The song reminds me of an evening spent in a garage with some friends fidling with car engines. Crap song, great memories. Stuck in the middle with you takes me back to Santa pod, even better memories. Between 10t and 11th by Charlatans remind me of days in Paris with Lila. The album still has the power to pick me up when I am truly down. Embrace, come back to what you know- reminds me of the spilt with The Boy's Father. Not sure why, I hate the whining way it is sung and do not care much for the memory either. Mavericks Dance the night away - a car journey from Stourbridge to Basingstoke with Kim at the wheel. A happy moment in a mixed period. Pulp - Love is blind. Plymouh, in The Boy's Father's bedroom. The lyrics fitted the moment... so we laid on the bed and we waited for the ceiling to fall in, but in the morning it was all still there, thespilt milk and the dog turds etc... JoyDivision - Don't walk way in silence (not sure it's the right title). Every time I argued with the Boy's Father and chose to end the argument and storm off he would play this very loud while we both sulked in separate rooms. Which would be yours ?
