Well...
No friday fives today. I have had a look at past entries. Nothing that inspires me. Feel to ask 5 questions of your choice.

Fluffy (7.12.03 02:40) ok, erm... 1) what do you hate most about yourself? 2) what do you love most about yourself? 3)What three things would you take on a desert island with you? 4)What three celbrities or historical figures would you take with you if you could? 5)Do you like friday fives?

(7.12.03 12:10) 1) That I have to make a concious effort to be happy (and I tend to give up on a dark, dull winter day). 2)That on a crisp sunny day I can get absolutely loads done. 3) yous said things right, not people. Assuming there is some form of electricity supply: a reliable oven; A very thick book (Proust, or the Old Testament, or maybe the complete works of Shakespeare so I can come back and show Oberon, I am not such a div after all...); if they could count as 1 all my UKO's (unfinished knitted objects). 4)If I can't take Him Indoors and The Boy for company... *thinks hard* Jamie Draven for the eye candy (number 2 on my naked twister list), Monty Don so I don't have to do any of the heavy digging myself and King Dagobert because one needs a few laughs when one is stranded on a desert island. 5)Yep. |

(7.12.03 20:10) Actually I have had second thoughts. I will swap Monty Don for Ray Mears. With Ray Mears I don't need an oven any more so I'll take my pillow instead. |

(7.12.03 23:40) You're not a div! You're a wonderful stroppycow! I did a alltheweb search with five and Shakespeare in the search field and came up with something quite lovely: Full fathom five thy father lies; Of his bones are coral made; Those are pearls that were his eyes: Nothing of him that doth fade, But doth suffer a sea-change Into something rich and strange. Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell: Ding-dong. Hark! now I hear them—Ding-dong, bell. |

(8.12.03 14:52) I suppose The Tempest is appropriate for an entry on desert island living. Shall I be Ariel or Ferdinand ? |
