Even supermarkets have a sense of humour.
On the packet of frozen salmon there was a little box called allergy warning. It stated "contains fish". Really, they do surprise me. Still it made me laugh so I suppose there was a point to it.

zed / Website (2.6.04 21:45) oh lord! salmon contains fish ??? |
|
(3.6.04 11:38) Perhaps, because fish are so affected by the chemicals etc in the water, the frozen food company decided that they should explain that the contents of the packet is infact fish. |

(3.6.04 13:55) fish no no FISH |
|
(3.6.04 17:01) Maybe they should be more honest and say - contains pesticides and heavy metals. The Boy was miffed when I had to take marlin and swordfish off the menu. Princess yes, YES fish. Are your 2 kids into fish too (I suspect it's those nutrition lessons at school - brain food and all that). |

Adrian / Website (30.6.04 01:11) Actually these days I would be pretty happy to see contains fish on fish. With all the synth stuff you never know anymore. I have to continually check fruit drinks labelled 'natural' to see how much fruit they actually think they can put in a drink to call it a fruit drink. |
