Windsor geat park long walk used to be lined with elms until the late 40's or early 50's - not too sure they were cut down and the lane was replanted with planes and chesnut trees. It is quite a nice walke with Windsor in the background, even with the crowds. The Great park has some more gardeny areas with lovely rhododendrons well worth spending the day. |

(7.6.04 20:46) Well done, If you are into lovley garndens look up the Yellow book gardens. Colemore house has it's gardens open in a few weeks and they are lovley. |
