There are days when

... I feel like I am wearing an invisibility cloak or something.

Today cycling to work I was cut up by drivers not once, not twice but three times. With a particular mention for the second driver who cut me up while going uphill, thanks a bunch.

The special prize goes to the man in the white van who thought he could overtake a car and come face to face with me. It was more than just a little bit scary and honest I would have given him the finger if my hands had not been firmly gripped around the brakes.

Return journey was so calm and enjoyable in comparison.

I can sympathise. When I "upgraded" to a scooter, I was amazed at how I still managed to be invisible to other drivers - regardless of the bright yellow vest I wore over my jacket and the fact that I always had my headlights on. I think their brains can't process anything on two wheels. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Right then tiger, you are not allowed to cycle without wearing five inches of bubble wrap.

I have switched to foot power for a few days. Will make a change not to dodge traffic for a bit.
I can start cycling again as soon as I have found a bubblewrap suit pattern.
