Midwife Muse has tagged me with the 6 unusual / unexpected/ not generally known things about me meme.

So I had a little thought and I couldn't come up with anything. I explained to Him Indoors that I couldn't come up with anything and said "there isn't really anything weird about me is there?" to which he laughed and almost spat his tea out and then sniggered a "of course not dear". Then he walked off giggling to himself and I was none the wiser.

Then I tried to remember what warranted the last "you are weird you are" from my colleagues. They say it quite a lot so maybe it was the way to go but somehow I couldn't remember what  it was. I guess my brain must have didmissed it since it probably thought it was something quite normal anyway and didn't need earmarking as odd.

So I thought some more, and some more again and because I could only come up with 1 thing, the other 5 are slightly unusal things about my car. Here we go:

  1. I don't get cold easily and often only wear a coat because it's the socially acceptable thing to do.
  2. My car has air bubbles in its windscreen.
  3. There are 2 different kinds of moss growing on the rubber seals around the windows because the car tends to stay parked facing in the same direction most of the time so the passenger and driver's sides get different sun and wind exposure
  4. I have been told the only polish which could restore its original fire engine red colour was a flame thrower
  5. There is a hole in the door where the passenger side wing mirror used to be. It is covered with masking tape.
  6. It has a manual choke. Until recently I had no idea it is unusal for a car to have one.

 Nah, I've got a Renault. But it's getting a bit old now and for the mileage i do it's not worth replacing it :-).
